The Trauma Update Conference 2025, organized by the Trauma Management team of KIMSHEALTH in association with ASI and SEMI Kerala Chapter., is a two-day academic and clinical event focusing on trauma care. The program will bring together leading experts, practitioners, and healthcare professionals to enhance knowledge, improve trauma outcomes, and foster collaborative teamwork.
VISION FOR THE TRAUMA CONFERENCE
Trauma care stands as one of the most fulfilling branches of medicine – not only because it deals with life-threatening emergencies, but because it offers the possibility of dramatically better outcomes when timely and effective care is delivered. Our vision is to ensure that every trauma patient receives the best possible chance at recovery through a system built on key principles: An effective pre-hospital care, prompt and precise resuscitation, early assessment in the emergency room, rapid secondary survey, and timely surgical or medical intervention. These must be followed by comprehensive nutritional and rehabilitative support, which is often underestimated but critical to long-term recovery.
Only a team work can achieve these and this conference, I hope can pave the way for the same.
